Most days you will find us open from 8:15
until 3pm and sometimes after 4pm. If you stop by after
4pm it is not uncommon to see our 4 children in action :-D
Being a full time mom, cook, bottle washer and business
owner is very challenging to say the least. I wouldn't
give up any of those jobs on MOST days! |

About
Embroidery Etcetera:
The idea for In Stitches
became a reality in October of 1998, when I could no longer
justify the amount of money that I was spending supporting my
sewing habit :-D I have continued to spend money on my
habit, but I can now justify these expenses by saying that I
"MUST" test out the products that I sell in order to meet
quality standards and to be able to show my customers how to use
them properly. Yes there are so many new toys and so little
time!
We started In Stitches with a single
philosophy that has kept things in perspective throughout the
years:
- Our home and family
life comes first before our business!
- Sell only the BEST
products that are not easy to find;
- Sell ALL products
below retail no matter what our cost;
- Be fair in all of our
dealings;
- Honesty is the only
policy.

These policies have helped our
business grow over the years and in November of 2000, we split
up our business into 3 different shops that each specialized in
a specific area: Embroidery Supplies, Doll Shop and Quilt Shop.
In January of 2002, we added a secure shopping cart system to
our internet sites WHEW! What a relief to finally have that
done! This update has improved our accuracy and allowed our
customers the most secure method of payment available, along
with the option to pay via PayPal. Please note that this is not
a real time processing cart system. We do not believe in
charging our customers until the order is ready to ship!
Therefore, we still maintain control of credit card processing.
In August 2003, we moved out of our house into a brick and
mortar store front and started offering walk in service
for custom embroidery as well as contract embroidery
services.
In
February 2004, we changed
our name from In Stitches to Embroidery Etcetera and added
another shop to our line up known as Embroidered Gifts. This
newest shop is one of our fastest growing endeavors. We have
offered custom embroidered items since 2000 and have decided to
add this to our online services. Please continue to check back
often since we are still under construction in this area.
I hope that this quick overview of who we are and what we stand
for has given you some insight into the type of business that
