Use this spray sparingly! This product is
indispensable when you are embroidering as well as quilting!
We spray our stabilizer lightly with the kk200 and stick it
under the hoop to the back side of the garment. It holds in
place until stitching is completed then we trim.
Use KK200 to baste your quilt layers together or to hold
your tackle twill in place until you satin stitch around
them. The uses for the WONDERFUL product never cease to
amaze me! I find new things every day!

Peel & Stick Tearaway
A paper sided sticky stabilizer

thick towels, etc. Cut the sticky paper slightly larger than the
hoop, peel away the paper backing and with the sticky side up,

edge of the hoop. Place the item to be embroidered on the sticky

between the hoop and the machine.

Filmoplast (Imported from Germany)
A paper sided sticky stabilizer that was designed to be used for
non-hoop-able items. When you have an odd item such as a pocket
where you cannot use a traditional hoop due to the lack of room,
you place a piece of this stabilizer stuck to a hoop-it-all,
standard hoop or specialty hoop, peel the wax paper off the
front and stick your non-hoop-able item directly on the sticky
paper. It is often desirable to run a basting stitch with the
design to keep it in place or pin and use binder clips to hold
in place.

Is Stabilizer Really Important??
No
matter how nice your garment or embroidery design is, your
finished product will not look professional if you do not
use the correct stabilizer!
There are MANY stabilizers on the market today. most come in
both White and Black. Here is a quick run down on the types
of stabilizers and the difference & uses of each:
Cut-A-Way: The most used stabilizer. Use this whenever you
can! This is a permanent stabilizer that will stay under the
design forever give the design extra body and stability.
Quick Tear or Tear Away: This is another permanent
stabilizer of sorts. It will stay under your design but the
edges will easily tear away. This is great when you are
doing a design that does not require as much stabilizer.
Filmoplast or Sticky Paper: This stabilizer is used for
applications where you will not be hooping your item. The
top paper peals off of the sticky side and then you stick
the sticky side to the hoop so that they sticky side is
facing up to stick your item on. This is not a very stable
stabilizer and you will want to use either a cutaway or tear
away with the stabilizer.
